Dan Quayle was born in Chicago, Illinois, on December 8, 1946. He graduated from high school in 1964 and went on to study at Indiana University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. He then attended the University of Notre Dame Law School and graduated with a Juris Doctor degree in 1970. Dan Quayle is a former United States Senator from the state of Indiana and was the Republican nominee for Vice President in the U.S
presidential election, 1988.
